Accepted payment methods at Shapparels, when the charge is taken and how it appears on your statement.

Accepted Payment Methods

• PayPal: pay from your PayPal balance, or from a bank account or card saved in your PayPal account.
• Cards via PayPal guest checkout: no PayPal account required. At checkout, select PayPal and then pay by debit or credit card. Card brands accepted this way, where PayPal supports guest checkout in your country: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
• PayPal Pay Later: appears at checkout only if PayPal makes it available for your order and location.

Currency: U.S. dollars (USD) for every price and charge. Not accepted: cash on delivery, checks, money orders, direct bank transfers, cryptocurrency or third-party gift cards. The options displayed at checkout are the options available for your order.

Is My Payment Information Safe?

PayPal, which is PCI DSS compliant, processes every payment over encrypted HTTPS connections. You enter card or bank details on PayPal’s checkout, not on our site. That data never touches our server, and Shapparels never sees or stores it.

When Will I Be Charged?

The full amount is charged when you place the order, because production begins shortly after checkout. A cancellation made within 6 hours, before production starts, is refunded in full. See our Cancellation & Modification Policy for the full rules.

Why Was My Payment Declined?

Common causes: the billing address does not match the card, the balance is insufficient, the card has expired, or your bank or PayPal held the payment as unusual activity. Confirm your details, contact your bank or PayPal, then try again. You can also email us for help.

Sales Tax & Customs Duties

Shapparels does not currently collect sales tax. If that changes, tax will appear as a separate line at checkout before you pay. Duties and import taxes on international parcels are the recipient’s responsibility; the Shipping Policy has the details.

Refunds to the Original Payment Method

An approved refund is sent within 5–10 business days to the card or PayPal account you paid with. Your bank or PayPal can take several more days to display the credit. Refund rules: Return & Refunds Policy.

Charge Statement Descriptor

PayPal payments to us appear on your card or bank statement as PAYPAL *SHAPPARELS. If you do not recognize a charge, email us the date and amount before you contact your bank. We will identify the order and respond within 24 hours on business days.
